I just inherited a scooter and the brake wires are disconnected and hanging. Scooter works fine except no brakes. I have tried connecting the 3 cables all sorts of way. At one point the brake worked but the ride was very juddery. The thumb brake has three cables hanging red, black, yellow and there are 3 cables hanging from the handle bar red, black, green....Any help would be much appreciated. The scooter is a Schwinn eco

You said that we can ask what we would like to see explained. The learning board is just for the beginners. The real stuff is to learn to repair a controller. I am not referring to verify and replace faulty MOSFETs. The Internet is full of such simple repairs. I am talking about advanced diagnoses of faulty controllers. I would like to see a strategy for diagnose. Some typical testing procedures to decide what part is bad.

Hello, i have similar display but i noticed that when I apply resistance to the motor (riding up the hill) the display increases the speed even though the speed of the bike remains the same. So in other words it shows wrong speed measurement. Any idea about that?

Hi guys! I want to share how to enable EBS on a WinXu Tech controller from aliexpress: There are a pair of pads next to eachother labeled X and DS. You need to connect these pads together and then you will have EBS function on both the high and low brake wires. I recommend using a switch instead of a blob of solder so you can turn off EBS if you want to. Very good and informative video btw. Before this I didn't even know that my controller has EBS function.

Very COoL. 5 years later and it's still exactly what I wanted to see. I like that way you put the beef into those (real!) copper cables. Assembly not inportant for this fact finding test...
